    Brief

Bury Council is looking for providers to deliver its Care at Home Service. This service is divided into two parts: 1. **Primary Framework Providers**: Up to ten main service providers will be selected, with two in each designated neighborhood (see the attached map for areas). These providers will operate on a 'week on' and 'week off' schedule. During their 'week on', they will handle at least 80% of all referrals, while during their 'week off', they will manage up to 20% of referrals. This arrangement allows providers to effectively implement support plans for each individual referred. The two main providers in each neighborhood must collaborate to ensure that all care packages are accepted. 2. **Secondary Framework Providers**: Up to five backup providers will be available across the entire borough, covering all five zones. These providers will take on care packages when the primary providers are unavailable, with a maximum limit of 600 hours unless otherwise agreed upon by the Council. The contract will last for an initial three years, with the possibility of extending for two additional 12-month periods, based on annual performance evaluations and the Council's discretion.
