Romania – Construction of Electric Power Plants – Installation of Photovoltaic Power Plants and Energy Storage Systems

This contract involves the installation of photovoltaic power plants and energy storage systems to supply internal services at various electric power stations operated by C.N.T.E.E. Transelectrica S.A. The project aims to significantly improve operational indicators by reducing energy costs for internal services and contributing to the decarbonization of the economy through renewable energy sources. Suppliers must ensure compliance with the 'Do No Significant Harm' principle throughout the project, including during the design and execution phases. The investment will reduce the unavailability of the National Energy System (SEN) and the National Electricity Transport System (RET) by decreasing intervention times and equipment downtime, mitigating cybersecurity risks, and ensuring optimal functioning of internal services. The procurement is part of Sub-investment 5.a under the PNRR - Component C16. REPowerEU.
