Mobile Coverage Measurement Services for Belgian Railways

This contract aims to obtain measurement results from the mobile coverage assessment of the Belgian railways conducted by the four active mobile operators, both outside and inside the trains. It involves the engagement of external expertise to implement automated, accurate, and reproducible measurements. The contract requires the installation of necessary measurement setups on the trains and the processing of the measured data by the provider for the verification and publication of the resulting data by the Belgian Institute for Postal Services and Telecommunications (BIPT). The provider will supply the necessary measurement setups to collect data on mobile coverage of the Belgian railways, including connectivity outside the train cars and passenger connectivity inside the train cars. The resulting data will be used to map the coverage of the railway.
