    Brief

This contract involves the procurement of electricity for Krakow University of Technology through a market-based model, in compliance with applicable regulations. The electricity will be used for the needs of the University, which is not classified as an energy enterprise under the Energy Law of April 17, 1997. The University has the right to purchase 100% of the electricity volume consumed during the contract period based on the pricing of futures contracts published on the website of the Energy Commodity Exchange (TGE), specifically the annual base contract (BASE_Y) or the quarterly base contract (BASE_Q) relevant for the sales period. The University will grant the Contractor or their representatives the necessary authorization to perform all actions required for the proper execution of the sales contract resulting from this procurement process. The estimated electricity demand during the contract period is 14,000 MWh. This volume is based on previous consumption and cannot be the basis for any claims by the Contractor. The actual amount of electricity consumed will depend solely on the current needs of the University and will be determined based on the readings from the measurement and settlement systems. The University indicates that the total minimum electricity consumption during the contract period will be no less than 11,000 MWh. A detailed description of the contract subject is provided in the 'Description of the Contract Subject' attached as Annex 1 to the SWZ, which includes the locations and descriptions of the electricity delivery points, as well as the draft contract attached as Annex 7 to the SWZ. The University requires that the Contractor has a valid General Distribution Agreement with the local Distribution System Operator (DSO), which allows them to sell electricity through the DSO's distribution network to all facilities listed in Annex 1 to the SWZ.
