Fire Safety Services for Events at Solingen Theater and Concert Hall

The City of Solingen is seeking a contractor to provide fire safety personnel for events at the Theater and Concert Hall for the years 2026 and 2027. This requirement arises from fire safety upgrades and construction measures that necessitate an interim evacuation plan, which includes the need for additional fire safety personnel during events. For each event, up to 8 fire safety personnel may be required at the theater and up to 9 at the concert hall, with the possibility of an additional fire safety personnel in the hallway on the first floor when conference rooms and the main concert hall are in simultaneous use. The number of events requiring fire safety personnel is estimated to be around 400, based on data from 2024. Each fire safety personnel is expected to work an average of 3.5 hours per event, although actual hours may vary. Bidders should provide their average hourly rate in euros (net) for each fire safety personnel, excluding any legal surcharges for Sunday or night work. Additionally, bidders must specify their rates for Sunday, holiday, and night work. All conditions outlined in the attached contract template must be fully met.
