Construction of District Heating System in Brunsbüttel

Westholstein Wärme GmbH is planning to establish a district heating system in Brunsbüttel, Germany, to supply several urban areas west of the Nord-East Sea Canal. The goal is to create a future-proof and efficient heating infrastructure for environmentally friendly energy supply. This procurement opportunity involves the construction of a section of the main pipeline, starting from Gorch-Fock-Straße 31 to the intersection of Berliner Straße, covering approximately 300 meters. About 12 house connections are currently planned along this section. The objective is to connect as many adjacent properties as possible to the new district heating network. The completion of the transport pipelines is scheduled for December 19, 2025, and the house connection pipelines for June 30, 2026. The heat supply will be provided through a newly constructed energy center, which will utilize hot water, process water, steam, and electric boiler systems for heating energy production. The specific technical equipment is not part of this procurement. The procurement is divided into three lots: Lot 1 - Pipeline Construction; Lot 2 - Civil Engineering Works; Lot 3 - Leak Detection System.
