Engineering Services for New Institute Building at Freiburg University

The Fraunhofer Institute for Sustainability Engineering (IZN) is a collaborative project involving five Fraunhofer Institutes located in Freiburg: EMI, IAF, IPM, ISE, and IWM. This project entails the construction of a new institute building on the campus of the Technical Faculty at Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg. The building will be equipped with advanced scientific facilities for semiconductor diagnostics, laser optical measurement methods, optical reference paths, testing equipment for mechanical characterization, microstructure diagnostics, high-frequency measurement technology (for circuit board manufacturing), material preparation, material characterization, and computing clusters. It will also include complex technical systems across various categories (1-9), such as mechanically operated smoke extraction systems, electrically operated sun protection, and photovoltaic facades, in accordance with fee zones II and III as per HOAI. Category 7 will include technical gases and laboratory equipment. Suppliers are invited to submit proposals for these engineering services.
