Public Transport Services in Lucca

This contract opportunity involves the concession for Local Public Transport (TPL) services in the Lucca province, specifically targeting areas with lower demand. The estimated annual distance for conventional TPL services is approximately 1,780,000 vehicle kilometers. Additionally, there will be flexible or on-demand TPL services, estimated at around 5,000 operational hours per year, which represents about 7% of the total service production. The TPL services will be provided across four municipal areas in the province: 1) Versilia, 2) Media Valle del Serchio, 3) Piana di Lucca, and 4) Garfagnana, as detailed in the attached Technical Specifications. The total value of the concession over the contract duration is €36,721,299.92, which includes local authority subsidies, traffic revenue, and other related income. The contracting authority reserves the right to extend the contract by up to 50%, as per Regulation (EC) No. 1370/2007, with an estimated value of this option at €18,360,649.96. Therefore, the total value of the concession, including the option, amounts to €55,081,949.88.
