LED Street Lighting Reconstruction in Hungary (2025/2026)

The contracting authority seeks to modernize public lighting in Budapest by implementing innovative street and underpass lighting fixtures equipped with built-in LED light sources and capable of light flow regulation via the DALI protocol. This project will be executed under a framework agreement, allowing for partial bids. The project consists of four parts: 1. Street lighting fixtures (20,000 units), 2. Underpass lighting fixtures in a rotationally symmetric shape (1,000 units), 3. Underpass lighting fixtures in a square shape (1,000 units), and 4. Underpass lighting fixtures in a rectangular shape (1,000 units). The contracting authority intends to establish a framework agreement with multiple bidders, as per Section 105 (2)(c) of the Public Procurement Act. The second phase of the framework agreement process will involve reopening the competition according to Sections 105 (3)-(5) of the Act.
