Building Demolition and Earthworks in Germany

This contract involves the demolition of buildings, including the removal of hazardous materials and the dismantling of an old cinema/sports hall. The work includes the remediation of hazardous substances, the complete gutting of the building, and the demolition of an annex. The main building was constructed in the early 1950s and measures approximately 85.34 m x 22.47 m, while the annex measures about 53.44 m x 12.07 m. A total of approximately 608 m² (2,800 m³) of the annex will be demolished. The annex is built with solid construction and features a sloped wooden roof with multi-layer plastic sealing and a bituminous sealing system. Hazardous materials found in the buildings include: - Asbestos-containing floor tiles in the cinema's screening room (1st floor) - Asbestos adhesive beneath the floor tiles (1st floor) and under PVC flooring in the cinema hall - Asbestos paint and filler in the interior of the sports hall - Asbestos sealing in the masonry at the base of the sports hall and possibly throughout the entire building - KMF (man-made mineral fibers) used for pipe insulation (including aluminum-coated, under PVC sheathing, metal, and gypsum mantle) along with valves, regulators, and fittings - KMF ceiling tiles and insulation on suspended ceilings - KMF insulation in lightweight walls made of gypsum board and behind coverings made of plaster, gypsum board, wood, etc.
