Technical Services for Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems Initiative in Morocco

This contract involves the preparation of technical studies and project documentation for a Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems (WEFE) Nexus initiative at the Oued El Makhazine Dam in Morocco. The project aims to enhance water management and food security in the Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima region. Key tasks include: 1) Conducting studies for a floating photovoltaic plant to generate electricity for water pumping, with an estimated capacity of 13.5 MWp; 2) Developing an action plan for implementing Precision Agriculture in selected areas, focusing on key crops for food security; 3) Creating a project fiche in the form of a GCF Concept Note to access funding, including technical feasibility studies and preliminary assessments. The contract is open to qualified individuals or entities with relevant experience. The total budget is USD 365,000, covering all costs. Offers must be submitted for the entire assignment, and the contract duration is 6 months from signing.
