    Brief

This procurement opportunity involves the establishment of a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the printing of books and other publications with ISBN numbers. The buyer, Mathias Corvinus Collegium Foundation, is creating two product categories: 1. Books to be procured for MCC Press Ltd.: 'Printing of books with ISBN numbers' 2. Books to be procured for the MCC Foundation: 'Printing of books and other publications'. The main technical specifications for each product category will be detailed in the technical description included in the procurement documentation. The purpose of this DPS is to utilize the opportunities it provides for ordering printing services (book printing and other publication printing). The DPS will be valid for a fixed period of 12 months. The detailed description of the main tasks and quality requirements will be included in the procurement documents issued during the bidding phases. The winning bidder will be responsible for providing printing services for a duration of 12 months from the establishment of the DPS. The estimated total quantity to be ordered during the 12-month period is 40 books in the first category, valued at a net amount of 65,000,000 HUF, and 20 books and publications in the second category, valued at a net amount of 20,000,000 HUF (total net amount for both categories during the DPS: 85,000,000 HUF). However, the buyer emphasizes that this procedure does not create an obligation to order the indicated value, and the actual value of the purchases made during the bidding phases may exceed the estimated quantities. The maximum amount for a single order is 8,000,000 HUF in the first category and 2,000,000 HUF in the second category. The buyer expects (but is not obligated) to order at least one book or publication in each category during the DPS period: In the first category: - at least one book printed in 1+1 color, on offset or volumized paper, hardcover, thread-sewn, exceeding 300 pages, with an ISBN number; - at least one book printed in 1+1 color, on offset or volumized paper, softcover, glued, exceeding 200 pages, with an ISBN number. The service also includes the packaging of books and publications, as well as delivery tasks to the buyer. The buyer's books typically range from 100 to 600 pages, printed in quantities of 500 to 2000 copies, in one, two, or four colors. The exact names, parameters, and quantities of products that can be ordered will be detailed later in the bidding phase. The quantities have been estimated by the buyer to provide economic operators with an understanding of the volume of the procurement. The actual quantities to be procured will be determined in the procurement procedures conducted in the second phase of the DPS.
