Expansion of Aresing Primary and Secondary School

The Aresing School Association is constructing an extension building and a pavilion for the school cafeteria and all-day care at the Bishop Sailer Primary and Secondary School in Aresing. The base floors of the buildings will be made of reinforced concrete, while the upper floors will be built using timber construction. Visible wooden load-bearing structures will span over classrooms and learning areas. The exterior of the buildings will feature wide balconies and walkways that serve as escape routes and relaxation areas, providing protection from excessive sunlight. The flat roofs will be greened. Both buildings will be heated using a ground-source heat pump. The roofs will be equipped with photovoltaic panels for electricity generation. As part of the expansion, the outdoor facilities of the school will be largely redesigned and expanded.
