Medical Laboratory Services for Prisons in Baden-Württemberg

This contract involves providing essential laboratory medical examinations for the healthcare of prisoners in the correctional facilities of Baden-Württemberg. The contractor will conduct lab tests, including drug analysis (screening for narcotics, new psychoactive substances, and medications) using saliva and urine tests. For urine tests, marker substances will be used to ensure accurate identification of the urine sample to the respective donor. The services are specifically for the correctional facilities and the Hohenasperg prison hospital. Exclusions include laboratory tests that can be performed internally within the facilities and urgent laboratory tests that cannot be conducted in the contracted laboratories due to time constraints.
