Construction Works for Air Conditioning Systems at Waste Incineration Plant

The project involves the renovation and modernization of the Waste Incineration Plant in Darmstadt. It requires the installation of several ventilation and partial air conditioning systems in existing and new building sections (BT02 and BT03). These systems are essential for removing heat generated by warm surfaces of the equipment. Key areas include: 1. **Washer Hall**: This area spans from the ground level to the roof and is divided into two sections. It requires natural ventilation to manage heat loads of 243 kW. New louver dampers and sound attenuators will be installed to meet noise emission standards. 2. **Pump Hall**: Adjacent to the Washer Hall, this area needs replacement of existing fans and installation of air ducts to manage air flow effectively, ensuring compliance with ventilation requirements. 3. **Water Treatment Room**: This corrosive environment requires new axial fans to be installed for air removal, along with sound dampers and fire protection flaps. 4. **Control Room**: Two new control rooms will be constructed, each requiring climate control systems to manage heat loads of approximately 26 kW. Split air conditioning units will be installed, necessitating additional refrigerant due to the length of the connections. Suppliers are invited to submit proposals for the construction and installation of these systems, ensuring compliance with all specified requirements.
