Medical Equipment Supply and Installation for Hospital Needs

This procurement opportunity involves the supply, installation, commissioning, training of staff, and warranty service for one electromyography (EMG) system for the needs of the "Hristo Botev" Hospital in Vratsa, Bulgaria. The minimum technical and functional requirements for the equipment are detailed in the attached technical specifications. If specific models, sources, processes, trademarks, patents, types, origins, or productions are mentioned in the technical requirements, they should always be understood as "or equivalent." The contracting authority will accept equivalents, but the burden of proof for demonstrating equivalence lies with the participant. The order includes delivery, installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, staff training, and warranty support for the medical equipment. The offered equipment must be brand new, unused, and not demonstrational. According to Article 74, paragraph 4 of the Public Procurement Act, this procurement is opened with a shortened deadline for submitting offers due to the following reasons: the existing EMG equipment can no longer be repaired as it is impossible to obtain the necessary spare parts. EMG testing is part of the mandatory diagnostic procedures under KP 56.1, for which approximately 70 patients are treated monthly. It is urgently necessary to purchase a new electromyograph with computer signal processing.
