Highway A2 Reconstruction Project

This contract involves the reconstruction of the A2 highway, specifically the section at the border of the Łódź and Mazowieckie provinces, focusing on the Konotopa junction (without the junction) to add an additional lane. The work will expand the width of each lane by 3.0 meters on the inner side, utilizing the existing wide central dividing strip. This will change the traffic configuration from 2 lanes in each direction to a target configuration of 2 lanes in one direction and 3 lanes in the other. The project area is located in the Mazowieckie province, covering the Żyrardów and Grodzisk districts, including the municipalities of Wiskitki, Baranów, Jaktorów, and Grodzisk Mazowiecki. Additionally, there are optional tasks for traffic organization adjustments at various intersections and nodes, as well as the implementation and maintenance of temporary traffic organization based on provided documentation. The contractor will also be responsible for the demolition and construction of culverts under the A2 highway in a specified section, following the project documentation provided by the contracting authority. All necessary works for the proper functioning of the highway must be completed in accordance with the contracting authority's requirements.
