IT Hardware Procurement Framework Agreement

This contract opportunity involves establishing a framework agreement for the procurement of IT hardware, including PC systems, laptops, and monitors, for the administration and schools of the city of Esslingen. The contracting authority reserves the right to procure individual devices with configurations that may differ from those specified in the performance sheets. The framework agreement will have an initial term of 24 months, with two optional extensions of 12 months each. The devices procured for the administration will be financed through leasing under an existing leasing framework agreement, which includes warranty, maintenance, and support services. For this purpose, the contracting authority will assign the purchasing rights obtained through this tender to a leasing provider. The leasing provider will then purchase the devices from the awarded contractor at the request of the contracting authority, in their own name and for their own account. Bidders agree to this procedure upon submitting their offers, should their bid be awarded. Financing services through a leasing provider are not part of this tender. The devices intended for schools will not be leased, in accordance with the requirements of the DigitalPakt Schools.
