    Brief

The purpose of this contract is to build the necessary infrastructure for subsequent eHealth projects, serving as an integration platform, a trusted archive, and other related projects with a focus on data security and protection, as well as sufficient redundancy. The public procurement also includes the provision of implementation services. The technical description and deployment requirements are detailed in Appendix 1 of the contract, Technical Specification, and in Appendix ZD, Implementation Work. Another goal of the project is to enhance the level of electronic health services at the hospital level and reduce the administrative burden on the contracting authority's staff. The development of information and communication technologies in society is associated with many multiplier effects. ICT contributes to increasing the quality and efficiency of work, as it allows for easier information sharing, creates a foundation for the development of new services in public administration, and helps to balance regional disparities. The modernization of hardware and software equipment at FNUSA is a necessary prerequisite for creating a modern functioning electronic healthcare system throughout the Czech Republic, which is one of the strategic goals of the Czech government. The subject of this public contract consists of implementing technical measures in the following activities: The architecture of the required eHealth infrastructure platform solution must achieve the stated goals: Create a highly available environment for the operation of eHealth systems, both 'compute' and 'storage', including a server virtualization platform (virtualization at the VMware level – licenses are not part of the public procurement, the necessary licenses will be provided by the Contracting Authority). The delivery requirements are: 1+1 server in two server rooms, 1+1 disk array configured and operated as a 'metro cluster'. Create a highly available environment for data archiving for eHealth operations, both 'compute' and 'storage', including a server virtualization platform (virtualization at the VMware level – licenses are not part of the public procurement, the necessary licenses will be provided by the Contracting Authority).
