Waste Sorting and Preparation Services in Legnica, Poland

This contract involves providing manual sorting services for municipal waste, including preparatory work for sorting and manual dismantling of bulky waste at the Waste Management Facility (ZZO) in Legnica. The scope of work includes: 1) Manual sorting of mixed and recyclable municipal waste into fractions (plastics, foil, paper, glass, and other materials specified by the buyer) at the mechanical sorting line and other designated areas; 2) Manual sorting of other waste (e.g., construction waste, textiles) into specific fractions (plastics, foil, paper, glass, clothing, footwear, blankets, etc.) at designated locations; 3) Preparatory work for sorting and loading/unloading, such as removing obstructing waste and tearing bags; 4) Manual dismantling of bulky waste using simple tools provided by the contractor (hammers, axes, crowbars, hand saws, etc.); 5) Maintaining cleanliness at the work site and surrounding areas; 6) Cleaning work at the ZZO and adjacent areas. The service will be provided by 54 workers in two sorting facilities from Monday to Friday in two shifts (06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00) and by 28 workers on Saturdays (07:00-15:00). Additionally, 4 workers will perform cleaning and maintenance tasks during the same hours, and 2 workers will dismantle bulky waste from 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday. The buyer reserves the right to modify working hours and the number of workers with at least 24 hours' notice. The estimated total working hours for this contract is 123,660 hours, with a guaranteed minimum of 50,000 hours. The contractor must provide a compliant social room for workers at the ZZO, equipped with necessary facilities. A site visit is available before submitting an offer. The buyer may also issue additional orders for similar services up to 50% of the original contract value within three years.
