Staffing Services for Leijona Catering

Leijona Catering Oy is seeking staffing services for various positions across its locations, primarily for restaurant workers, chefs, waitstaff, and packers. The profiles of the temporary workers are detailed in Appendix 1 of the request for proposals, and the requirements for their attire are outlined in Appendix 2. The estimated distribution of temporary workers by job type is as follows: - Restaurant/Canteen Workers: 53% - Chefs: 30% - Waitstaff: 10% - Packers: 7% These estimates are intended to assist suppliers in preparing their bids. Appendix 3 includes the actual working hours from 2022-2024, which should also be considered helpful information for bidding. The buyer is not committed to specific working hour quantities for the services (i.e., there is no obligation to purchase a set amount). The procurement is not divided into subcategories, as feedback from suppliers during market dialogue indicated that a competitive situation will arise, and managing a single contract is deemed most efficient and cost-effective. Three (3) suppliers will be selected and ranked. Staffing services will primarily be procured from the winning supplier. If the winning supplier cannot provide the required services or if there are quality issues, services will be obtained from the second-ranked supplier. If that supplier also cannot deliver the required services, the third-ranked supplier will be approached. If none of the suppliers can provide the services due to geographical challenges or scheduling issues, Leijona Catering has the right to procure the services from a third party. The framework agreement will initially be valid for a fixed term of 2 years, after which it may be extended for one additional year, up to two (2) times.
