Planning Services for a Renewable District Heating Network in Preetz

The City of Preetz is seeking architectural and engineering services for the planning of a renewable district heating network in the Klosterquartier area. This opportunity involves the development of a feasibility study and the planning of a heating center that will include two large heat pumps, two gas boilers, and a heat storage system. The project is currently in the preliminary planning phase, focusing on the heating generation facilities. A key decision must be made regarding the existing building on the site: whether to utilize it (Option 1) or to demolish it and construct a new functional building (Option 2). The outcome of this decision is critical for advancing the planning process under Module 1 of the Federal Program for Efficient District Heating Networks (BEW).
