Construction of MINERVA Accelerator and Application Center

The SCK CEN is seeking suppliers for the construction of the MINERVA project, which stands for MYRRHA Isotopes production coupled with a linear accelerator to the Versatile proton target facility. This project includes two main components: the 100 MeV proton linear accelerator (ACC) and the MINERVA Application Center (MAC), with a total construction cost exceeding 25 million euros. The goal of this procurement is to construct conventional buildings for the ACC, including all architectural finishes, resulting in ready-to-use facilities. For the MAC, the procurement includes the construction of a conventional building envelope that is wind and water-tight, delivered dust-free. Note that the finishing work for the MAC building is not included in this procurement. Additionally, this procurement encompasses integrated electrical systems (grounding and equipotential network), cranes, and radiation protection doors.
