    Brief

This contract involves a framework agreement with multiple suppliers (at least 2) for the provision of toner cartridges, valid from August 15, 2023, for a period of 24 months, in accordance with Article 115, paragraph 2, letter b) of Law 98/2016. Subsequent contracts will adhere to the conditions of the framework agreement and the specifications outlined in the tender documents. The framework agreement will establish the general terms for purchasing toner cartridges. Subsequent contracts will be awarded following a re-tendering process for each toner (one or more models and quantities). The distinguishing elements of the subsequent contracts compared to the framework agreement will be the details of the re-tendered toners. The estimated value of the largest subsequent contract is 40,000 lei, based on the history of the previous framework agreement. The need for these products is justified by the operation of existing printing and copying equipment within the institution, as well as the recycling of empty cartridges in accordance with current legislation (HG 621/2005 in line with EU Directive 2004/12/EC). Printing activities are essential for the majority of operations at the State Office for Inventions and Trademarks.
