Road Signage Supply and Installation in Romania

The Arad County Council is seeking suppliers for a framework agreement to provide and install road signs and poles, including maintenance services, over a period of three years. This initiative aims to enhance road safety by addressing the incomplete road signage identified during technical reviews in 2022. New signs will be installed in both rural areas, where higher speeds are common, and within localities to ensure safe traffic flow for vehicles and pedestrians. The project focuses on improving safety in high-risk areas, particularly near schools, kindergartens, and government institutions, where lower speed limits are necessary to protect pedestrians. The estimated value of the framework agreement ranges from 108,476.35 lei to 7,362,149.25 lei, excluding VAT, with subsequent contracts valued between 35,654.83 lei and 1,229,161.38 lei, also excluding VAT. Interested suppliers can request clarifications or additional information up to 20 days before the offer submission deadline, and the contracting authority will respond to all inquiries by the 12th day before the deadline.
