Construction of a Research Center in Romania

This procurement opportunity is for the construction of a Research Center focused on the intelligent management of multiple uses of plant genetic resources throughout the agri-food chain, benefiting and involving the community. The contracting authority is the Research and Development Station for Vegetable Growing Bacău, which has secured funding for this project under the Regional North-East Program 2021-2027. The project includes the following key components: 1. Demolition of the existing greenhouse and site preparation for new constructions. 2. Construction of the main research center building, featuring reinforced concrete structures, thermal insulation, and energy-efficient design. 3. Construction of a glass-covered research greenhouse and tunnel greenhouses. 4. External works including road rehabilitation, green space development, and utility connections. 5. Installation of technical equipment such as heating systems and ventilation. The project duration is 24 months, with a minimum warranty period of 36 months.
