Recklinghausen County Building Renovation Project

The Recklinghausen County intends to renovate the County House in Recklinghausen. The renovation will include all necessary measures related to fire protection, building services, health standards, and a complete roof renovation. This will also involve the demolition of the existing facade followed by a new construction. Contaminated interior walls will be removed, leading to an almost complete demolition of the entire interior, except for the existing screed. The goal is to achieve a contaminant-free building. Additionally, the surrounding outdoor facilities, including courtyards, will be demolished and rebuilt. The core renovation will take place while the building is in operation, meaning that the work will be carried out in phases, requiring interim solutions within the existing structure, in externally rented properties, and possibly in containers.
