Owner's Engineer for Lötschberg Base Tunnel Expansion

BLS AG is seeking an Owner's Engineer (OE) for the expansion of the Lötschberg Base Tunnel, specifically for the Engstlige Tunnel. The OE will be responsible for ensuring quality and providing technical support to the client throughout the project. Key responsibilities include: - **Quality Assurance and Technical Support**: Oversee the quality of construction and provide technical assistance to the client. - **SIA Phase 51**: Review the detailed and execution planning of railway technology prepared by the general contractor, including expert assessments in protective scaffolding and construction technology. - **SIA Phase 52**: Monitor and ensure compliance with the requirements during the execution of railway technology. - **SIA Phase 53**: Assist in the commissioning process and lead the sub-project for commissioning and documentation. The selected OE must have expertise in the following areas: - Expert knowledge in protective scaffolding and construction technology. - Ballasted and solid track systems, including switches. - Railway power supply and overhead lines. - Tunnel safety equipment. - Tunnel communication systems and data networks. - Low voltage systems and facility control. - Commissioning and documentation according to EN 50126 (RAMS).
