This contract involves the procurement of ion implantation equipment that utilizes a well-collimated beam of ions with known and highly controlled energy. This equipment will be used as a tool for the controlled modification of the physical and chemical properties of semiconductor materials by introducing ions into their structure at well-defined energies, geometries, and doses. This process allows for the controlled alteration of the electrical properties of the material, such as doping to adjust conductivity, without significantly altering the underlying crystalline structure. Additionally, it can influence other functional characteristics, such as carrier mobility or the behavior of semiconductor structure interfaces. The contracting authority will respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarification or additional information from interested economic operators within 10 days before the deadline set in the participation notice for submitting offers. Clarifications can be requested up to 15 days before the offer submission deadline.
