Modernization of Magdeburg City Hall - Representative Lighting

The City of Magdeburg, represented by the Municipal Building Management (KGM), is planning a comprehensive modernization of the Magdeburg City Hall. This historic building is classified as a monument by the State Office for Monument Preservation. The main objectives of the modernization include: - Enhancing the quality of the historic building for visitors and users - Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, particularly regarding fire safety - Restoring the building's original architectural form - Optimizing the operational capabilities of the City Hall, particularly by: - Improving access to the stage in the Great Hall - Enhancing visibility of the stage in the Great Hall - Upgrading building and event technology - Expanding the availability of flexible event and conference rooms - Renovating kitchen areas - Improving the building envelope's energy efficiency while considering monument protection requirements - Developing a lighting concept to enhance the building's external appearance in the urban space of Magdeburg - Improving outdoor space quality (demolition of various existing structures) - Creating effective flood protection. ------------------------------- Key Services for Lot 411 – Representative Lighting: 701 ceiling-mounted lights, 290 surface-mounted lights, 174 lights for the Great Hall (high mounting height requiring scaffolding), 290.5 linear meters of light band systems, 60 wall-mounted lights, 20 pendant lights, 234 recessed step lights, 31 surface-mounted lights on site railings (outdoors), 1,290 linear meters of facade lights (high mounting height requiring scaffolding), 88 linear meters of LED strip lights, 274 lights with supply in sub-distribution, 41 lights coordinated with the monument protection office, 4 types of sample lights in 2 runs. --------------------------------- Implementation period: November 27, 2025 - June 30, 2026.
