Administrative Services for Processing Permit Applications

This contract involves handling permit applications under the Keur/Water Board Regulation of WSHD. The applications range from simple private dock permits to business permits related to area developments or pipelines through water barriers. The contractor will engage in preliminary discussions with applicants, assess the eligibility of applications, review calculations and admissibility, request additional information if necessary, and provide an initial overall assessment of the application. The complete eligible application will then be submitted to the contractor via the digital case management system PowerBrowser for processing. This processing includes delivering a full draft decision based on a fixed format, which includes the rationale, relevant conditions, fee determination, processing of any associated calculations and reports, as well as registration in the case management system. After the draft decision is approved, WSHD will handle the further processing and public disclosure of the final decision.
