External Audit Services for Nottingham Trent University

Nottingham Trent University is seeking a qualified external auditor to conduct comprehensive financial audits in compliance with higher education standards. The successful supplier must be eligible under paragraph 59(b) of Schedule 8 of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992. Key responsibilities include: conducting audits that comply with applicable accounting standards; meeting requirements of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017; adhering to the University's charter, statutes, and all statutory requirements for financial affairs; complying with the Office for Students (OfS) funding terms and conditions and OfS Accounts Direction (OfS 2019.41 or successor); and meeting any Department for Education requirements relevant to the University's financial affairs and operations. This is a contract to provide professional external audit services to a higher education institution.
