High Throughput Live-Cell Imaging System - Supply, Installation, and Maintenance

The Future Medicines Institute (FMI) is seeking a high throughput live-cell imaging system with integrated environmental controls (CO2 and humidity) to support real-time cellular monitoring and drug discovery research. The system must accommodate multiple plates simultaneously (up to 6 plates, including 6 × 384-well plates) and capture high-resolution fluorescence and bright-field images over extended periods. Key requirements include: multiplate imaging capacity for high-throughput drug screening; real-time image acquisition with integrated analysis software; support for diverse experimental formats including 2D cell cultures, 3D spheroids, and organoid models; and multi-user access for complex cellular assays. The system will enhance FMI's drug discovery capabilities by accelerating candidate identification, enabling high-throughput screening, and supporting translational research. Additional benefits include improved cellular screening throughput, reduced setup time for time-course experiments, and decreased consumption of plasticware and reagents. The contract includes supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, and maintenance. The University reserves the right to purchase additional systems during the contract term, subject to funding availability, within specified limits outlined in the Pricing Schedule.
