General Building Works for Housing in Colchester

Colchester Borough Homes, representing Colchester City Council, is seeking to hire two contractors for various general building works related to housing stock. The contractors will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to: - Structural repairs - Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) safety works - Concrete works for paths and hard standings - Surface upgrades for steps and stairs - Roof repairs and renewals - External and internal decorations and finishes - Carpentry - Brickwork repairs, repointing, and replacement Please note that there is no minimum or maximum value for work instructions, and most tasks are expected to be valued at less than £1,000. The total contract value is approximately £1,000,000 per year, but as this is a call-off contract, there is no guarantee of a specific amount of work.
