Cladding Remediation at Priory View

The Central Bedfordshire Council is seeking suppliers for cladding remediation works at Priory View in Dunstable. This project involves several key tasks aimed at improving fire safety and compliance with the Cladding Safety Scheme. The work includes: - Replacing insulation materials and installing cavity barriers, which involves removing and reinstating spandrel panels. - Removing combustible timber materials and replacing them with non-combustible alternatives, including timber cladding, decking boards, and brise soleil. - Making necessary adjustments to render details. - Modifying ventilation and ducting details on the building's facade. - Remediating balcony structures to minimize combustible materials and replacing them with non-combustible options. The goal of this project is to achieve a low rating on reinspection by a facade engineer, as outlined in the updated Fire Risk Assessment External Works (FRAEW) report.
