    Brief

The National Trust is seeking proposals for a project involving paleoenvironmental analysis and remote sensing surveys of deep peat deposits located at Divis and The Black Mountain in County Antrim, and a small fen area at Lisnabreeny in County Down, Northern Ireland. The project requires the collection, processing, analysis, and dating of one pollen sequence from each site. Additionally, a remote sensing survey, preferably using Ground Penetrating Radar, will be conducted across approximately 50 hectares of deep peat deposits at both locations to determine and map the depth and extent of these deposits. Bidders should demonstrate their capacity, capability, economic standing, and relevant experience, along with their proposed solutions and pricing. The fieldwork and data collection must be completed and invoiced by the end of February 2026, and the final report, incorporating feedback from the National Trust, must be submitted and invoiced before the end of July 2026. Interested suppliers can find the tender on the Proactis Plaza portal by searching for The National Trust in the opportunities section.
