Medical Equipment for Microbiology Laboratory

This contract involves the procurement of medical equipment and supplies necessary for the microbiology laboratory at the Prof. Dr. Eduard Apetrei Hospital in Buhuși, Romania. The main goal of this project is to enhance healthcare infrastructure by investing in essential laboratory equipment that improves operational capabilities at local and regional levels. This initiative aims to reduce public health disparities and improve access to quality medical services. The project ensures equal access to healthcare and strengthens health system resilience, including primary care, while promoting a transition from institutional care to family or community care. The investment includes equipping the microbiology laboratory with the latest technology, such as automated and semi-automated analyzers for microorganism identification and antibiotic susceptibility testing, which will optimize laboratory operations and standardize processing stages according to international regulations. The project is part of the Health Program 2021-2027, focusing on increasing the effectiveness and resilience of the medical system in critical areas with strategic importance. The contract is divided into four lots, each specifying different types of equipment needed for the laboratory. Detailed specifications for each lot can be found in the tender documentation.
