Planning Services for the Renovation of Administrative Building Saline 1, Bad Friedrichshall

This project involves the renovation of the three-story former civil servant residence "Saline 1," which is part of a cultural heritage site established in 1821. The building has undergone several renovations, with the last major work done in 2009. It was previously used as an office for the municipal utilities and is now available for new purposes. The goal is to adapt the building to meet the needs of technical departments due to space constraints in the town hall. This includes making the building accessible and updating the technical infrastructure without a complete energy overhaul. The city’s building department has developed a preliminary concept for future use, which has been coordinated with future users and the building committee. The project requires external planners and architects to manage the planning, tendering, and construction supervision, as the city’s building department lacks the necessary personnel. The building is owned two-thirds by the municipal utilities and one-third by the city’s wastewater management. The project will be managed by the city of Bad Friedrichshall, with separate billing from the two clients.
