Moodle Learning Environments and Support Services Procurement

The procurement is for Moodle learning environments based on open-source software published by the Moodle Community (moodle.org) for the Police University College. This includes the implementation of the systems and the support, maintenance, and development services for these systems. The Police University College currently uses two Moodle environments that will be replaced by the new systems being procured. The procurement also includes the transfer of content from the existing environments to the new ones. The Police University College operates OV and TUVE Moodle systems. The Police IT Center, which operates under the Police Administration, is responsible for the maintenance and support of the Police University College's Moodle environments. One OV Moodle learning environment will be procured as a SaaS service along with its maintenance, support, and development services. This service will be implemented on a dedicated platform. Additionally, one TUVE Moodle learning environment will be procured as an On-Premises solution managed by the Client's security network, along with its maintenance, support, and development services. Both learning environments must be implemented with consistent technologies that meet the Client's requirements. Optionally, during the contract period, the installation of OV Moodle in the environment provided by the Client and the implementation of the learning environment, as well as all tasks described in the service description related to the SaaS service (continuous service), excluding the maintenance and operational services of the dedicated platform, may be procured. The value of the procurement contract is calculated as follows: 1) Delivery and implementation of the system and SaaS service for 48 months 2) Delivery and implementation of the system and support and maintenance service for 48 months 3) Option for delivery and implementation of the system and support and maintenance service for 12 months 4) Expert work for 48 months. The quantity of procurements based on the contracts will be influenced by factors such as the funding available to the Client, the utilization of the Client's own resources, and other factors related to the development of the system. No commitment is made regarding the quantity of procurements in the competition.
