Germany – Measurement Devices and Control and Monitoring Systems

BWI GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "BWI") is considering awarding eleven framework contracts, each with one contractor, for the supply, support, and maintenance of measurement technology in the areas of server, client, and network emulation, line measurement, WLAN, 5G, performance monitoring, as well as packet data recording and analysis, amounting to approximately €13,711,740 (net) (with a maximum limit of approximately €20,567,610 (net)). This requirement will be awarded through an open procedure according to § 15 VgV. The contracts will each have a maximum duration of four years and are divided into the following eleven lots: Lot 1: Capture appliances with centralized management for data center deployment Lot 2: Capture appliances for decentralized deployment in the field Lot 3: Packet analyzers Lot 4: Load generators for application simulation and emulation as well as security testing Lot 5: Load generators for network and routing emulation Lot 6: Testing devices for line characterization and service activation Lot 7: End-to-end testing, data stream preparation, and impairment emulation as well as WLAN analysis Lot 8: Measurement devices for 5G NR Lot 9: Support/Maintenance for Installed Base IXIA/Keysight Lot 10: Support/Maintenance for Installed Base Netscout Lot 11: Measurement devices for passive network infrastructure in the data center The product specification for this tender only concerns the support and maintenance for the already deployed measurement devices (hereinafter also referred to as "Installed Base") according to lots 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11, amounting to up to €6,667,620 (net) Euro.
