    Brief

    The City of Karlsruhe is seeking suppliers for the delivery of sodium hydroxide (NaOH 50%) to neutralize wastewater from flue gas and exhaust air treatment processes. The contract involves supplying a total of 660 tons over a period of 18 months, starting from October 1, 2025, to March 31, 2027, with an option to extend for an additional 6 months. The sodium hydroxide will be delivered as an aqueous solution (50% by weight) and must be unloaded at the designated chemical receiving station. The storage tank has a capacity of 20 m³ and is equipped with level measurement and overflow protection. Deliveries of 20 tons are required 1-2 times per month, coordinated with the contracting authority. Suppliers must submit their offers electronically via the Subreport procurement platform by the submission deadline. The contract will be awarded to the most economically advantageous offer, with a tolerance range for NaOH concentration of +/- 1% (49-51%). Offers outside this range will be excluded from consideration.
