Engineering Services for Hospital Building Transformation

The project involves the interior transformation, refurbishment of the building envelope, energy rehabilitation, and vertical extension of the aging B20 building (also known as HPAA) at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV) site in CERY. This restructuring will accommodate three entities: - The Addiction Medicine Service (SMA, 23 beds), which provides care for various addictions, including substance use (alcohol, drugs, medications, other psychotropics), excessive gambling, and cyber addiction. - Two units for adult general psychiatry (PGE, 2 x 17 beds), with a potential third unit pending validation. - A secure rehabilitation facility for adults (ERS, 19 beds) that will offer care to patients placed under therapeutic measures by a court. The building has already undergone several studies. The energy standard to be met is Minergie P ECO. The project will be developed using Building Information Modeling (BIM).
