Germany – Architectural and Engineering Services for Energy Renovation of a Sports Hall

The project involves the comprehensive modernization of the Dreifachsporthalle, a key facility for sports and leisure in Schermbeck, to meet energy efficiency standards. Built in the 1970s, this sports hall has served schools, clubs, and the community but now requires urgent renovations due to various issues that have arisen over the years. The main focus of this project is the structural and energy renovation of the facility. A framework plan has been developed to assess and repair the supporting elements to ensure the structural integrity of the sports hall. The building services planning includes replacing outdated heating, ventilation, and electrical systems with energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions to reduce energy consumption and improve energy efficiency. Upgrading insulation, windows, doors, heating, and ventilation systems will significantly lower energy usage, as confirmed by the energy concept.
