Construction Works for Railway Expansion and Renovation

This contract involves extensive construction and renovation measures as part of the infrastructure project between Staldifeld and Oberdorf. The goal is to enhance the capacity and long-term operational safety of the railway line. The first phase includes the expansion of a double-track system in the Staldifeld area, covering kilometers 7.800 to 8.923, with a track gauge of 3.40 meters. Two type 900 switches will be installed, the track drainage will be completely renewed, and the existing overhead line and safety systems will be replaced. Additionally, the cable system will be adjusted to the new alignment. A key focus of this phase is the reorganization of traffic at the level crossings, where the two existing crossings, Staldifeld 1 and Staldifeld 2, will be merged. A new access road to the property Ober Staldifeld will be constructed from the cantonal road. Furthermore, the existing foot and bicycle path will be adapted to the new track layout, and Dallenwilerstrasse will be relocated due to the additional track. The second phase of the project concerns the TU Feld area in Oberdorf and involves the complete renovation of the railway track from kilometers 7.500 to 7.800, including both the substructure and superstructure. The existing shoulder protection system in the Rüglei area will also be replaced. This phase will also see the renewal of track drainage to ensure effective drainage performance and protect the integrity of the track.
