Architectural Services for Campus Square Development in Tübingen

The project involves providing architectural services for the development of Campus Square at the University of Tübingen, located between Hölderlinstraße, Sigwartstraße, Nauklerstraße, and Gmelinstraße. The area includes the historic Old Physics building and will see the demolition of adjacent structures. The project aims to create a high-quality public space that connects surrounding buildings and enhances the area’s usability. Key considerations include preserving existing trees and integrating the design with the adjacent public streets, Sigwartstraße and Nauklerstraße. This is a negotiated procedure with a competitive selection process. A budget of €2 million (gross) is allocated for this project, which is expected to be completed by the university's 550th anniversary in 2027.
