Furniture for Educational Facilities - New Building at Albert-Schweitzer Primary School

The Albert-Schweitzer Primary School in Treuenbrietzen is expanding to accommodate the increasing number of students, requiring additional facilities to ensure all-day care for approximately 330 to 350 children. A new building with a usable area of about 1,500 square meters will be constructed on the school grounds. The design includes a compact two-story hall structure featuring an internal hall serving as an auditorium, surrounded by various functional rooms for group activities and workspaces. The auditorium, which is two stories high, includes an open gallery on the upper floor. The main entrance will be located on the east side of the schoolyard, with internal access provided through the two-story hall and a centrally located staircase leading to the upper gallery. This main access also serves as the primary emergency exit. An elevator will provide barrier-free access to the upper floor, while two additional staircases will serve as secondary emergency exits with direct access to the outdoors. The upper floor will feature nine group rooms and two functional rooms accessible from the gallery, with reading areas and cloakrooms designed as spacious, open niches. The ground floor will house the internal hall, which serves as the central access point and auditorium, designed to accommodate up to 200 people. A stage will be located in a niche between the elevator and the workshop. Administrative offices and staff rooms will be accessible from a small corridor off the hall. The school club with a cafeteria will be located to the north, connected to the hall by large windows. A terrace to the north will allow outdoor use during the summer. The adjacent kitchen will also be used for school cooking, with direct outdoor access via the terrace. General functional rooms (crafts, play, media) will be directly accessible from the hall. Utility rooms (heating, plumbing, and electrical) and the caretaker's room will be located to the north, next to the sanitary facilities, which are accessible on both floors via a separate corridor leading to an emergency staircase. The storage room will be located opposite the kitchen, in close proximity to the school club.
