E-Learning Software Services for Teacher Training in Romania

The University "Vasile Alecsandri" of Bacau is seeking to procure software services for the implementation of an integrated e-learning solution. This solution will include an e-learning platform, educational materials, and software for creating open educational resources for each teacher involved in the project "EduShift: Digital Pedagogy for Teachers in Pre-University Education." The project aims to train and mentor 10,000 selected teachers within a limited timeframe and on a large scale. To achieve this, an advanced and integrated e-learning platform is essential, which will include components for verifying, selecting, and evaluating the target group, as well as monitoring the program. The platform must also provide access to software for creating and editing open educational resources (OER) for each participating teacher, along with dynamic educational materials to support their training process. The proposed integrated e-learning software solution must be capable of managing a minimum of 13,000 simultaneous users, ensuring accessibility and performance without compromising user experience. The number of 13,000 users exceeds the target of 10,000 teachers due to the platform's specific modules and the processes involved in registration, evaluation, and selection of the potential target group.
