Hazardous Waste Management Services in Hungary

The National Dialysis Center is seeking suppliers for the collection, transportation, and disposal of hazardous waste generated during healthcare activities. This includes providing necessary containers for the waste. The services covered in the waste management fee include the removal and disposal of waste, as well as the provision of collection tools and carts that meet the specifications outlined in the technical description. The successful bidder must ensure that the collected waste is transferred only to licensed disposal facilities in compliance with current regulations. Additionally, the winning bidder is required to have liability insurance in place by the time of contract signing. Suppliers must also possess a Quality Management System certified to ISO 9001:2015 or an equivalent certification, as well as an Environmental Management System certified to ISO 14001:2015 or an equivalent certification. It is important for suppliers to note that failure to provide the required documents at the time of contract signing will result in withdrawal from the contract, as per Section 131 (4) of the Public Procurement Act, and the contract will be awarded to the second-best bidder. The contracting authority emphasizes that any references to specific brands, origins, types, processes, activities, individuals, patents, or trademarks in the call for tenders, documentation, and technical specifications are solely for the purpose of clearly defining the nature of the subject matter, and the phrase 'or equivalent' should always be understood. It is the bidder's responsibility to prove equivalence.
