Engineering Design Services for M43 Kiszombor Border Crossing

The Hungarian Government has decided to take necessary measures to prepare for the connection of the Kiszombor road border crossing to the M43 motorway, as per Government Resolution 1472/2023. This procurement aims to select a designer for the study plan, preliminary examination documentation, and feasibility study in accordance with the 2023 Act LXIX on public construction investments. The designer's tasks include conducting the preliminary examination procedure with the relevant environmental authority and obtaining the decision that concludes the procedure. The scope of work includes: • Designing the reinforcement of Road 431 over approximately 5.7 km for a load capacity of 11.5 tons with 2x1 traffic lane width, along with the development of the existing parallel bicycle path. • Designing the reinforcement of Road 43 over approximately 0.8 km for a load capacity of 11.5 tons with 2x1 traffic lane width. • Planning the renovation of the Maros floodplain bridge, approximately 110 m in structural length. • Designing a new route for the Makó bypass, approximately 5.7 km long, with new main road parameters of 2x1 traffic lanes. • Designing the reinforcement of Road 430 over approximately 3.2 km for a load capacity of 11.5 tons with 2x1 traffic lane width. • Planning the construction of a new bicycle path over approximately 9.5 km along a new route from Kiszombor to Klárafalva. • Planning the construction of a bicycle underpass.
