    Brief

    This contract involves a mixed service and construction project for the installation of photovoltaic panels for self-consumption on the roofs of six buildings, photovoltaic canopies in four parking areas and a pedestrian zone, photovoltaic fields in three developed areas of the campus, a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at two locations on campus, and a Low Voltage Storage System (SLB) in two university buildings. Additionally, it includes the infrastructure needed to connect these installations to the campus's private medium voltage network. This project is part of the Investment Plan for the Energy Transition of the Balearic Islands (PITEIB) and is funded by the European Union (NextGenerationEU). The contract also covers maintenance services for the photovoltaic installations and battery storage systems on the campus for a period of five years following the commissioning of the installations, funded by the University of the Balearic Islands' own resources.
